Roosevelt is a consummate professional. He had a previous career in law enforcement – spent three years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and 31 years with the State Bureau of Investigation. After retiring from the Bureau in 2006, he was bored so he decided to start another career driving school buses for two years and then moved on to GoRaleigh, where he’s been for 10 years. During his time at GoRaleigh, he’s found new friends in both his co-workers and his passengers. One day, one of his regular passengers had fallen asleep when he reached her stop. After he woke her up, she expressed how appreciative she was and then sent a letter to GoRaleigh expressing her gratitude. To this day, the letter is still in his personnel folder. “I not only enjoy driving the bus, I also enjoy practicing great customer service.”
