Customer Service

Margaret Betham Recognized for Customer Service Excellence

Maggie joined the IntelliRide team in Hawaii in 2016 as a customer service representative. Her bright attitude and eagerness to help made an instant impression on the health care members who use our services, our client and on her fellow employees. She received many commendations and recently was voted “Most Valuable Employee” by her peers.

Maggie was promoted to network coordinator position in 2019 where, in addition to overseeing the operations team, she manages the numerous transportation contractors and drivers, ensuring they are in compliance with training and vehicle maintenance. This is a considerable undertaking, and Maggie handles this with care, an acute attention to detail and a calm demeanor. Even when dealing with a member concern, she is empathetic and dares to think outside the box to resolve the issue. Most recently she moved to a recruiting role.

The culture on the island and of the Hawaian people is evident in the “kuleana” (responsibility) they feel for their “kupuna” (elders). Maggie understands that the members of the health care network sometimes prefer to interact with people who understand them on a cultural level. Maggie feels that our passengers should be treated like we would treat our own families.
