As our September / October “Stay Street Smart” campaign comes to an end, we want to conclude with a Stay Street Smart reminder focusing on Halloween. It’s important to be vigilant and not underestimate the importance of staying alert and aware around Halloween.
With an increase in pedestrians, especially those of shorter stature, it’s essential that all drivers exercise increased caution. Driving at slower than the posted speed limit, limiting distractions and avoiding passing other cars stopped in the street are just a few tips to ensure you have a safe and fun Halloween celebration.
Enjoy the ghosts, goblins and obviously the candy. Stay healthy & safe. Be on the lookout for our November / December health & safety theme which will focus on People Preparedness.
