Keeping Health & Safety Top-of-Mind

Safety Corner

Health & Safety continues to be the top priority for our employees, passengers and the communities in which we operate.

In an effort to help keep health & safety top of mind for our employees – whether  in the field, in an office or at home – every couple of months, we are highlighting an overall health & safety-related theme and some related sub-topics to focus on throughout the two-month timeframe.

The overall theme for July and August is “Beat the Heat.”

Especially during these final summer months, we encourage our employees to keep the heat-related concepts listed below top-of-mind to help keep themselves, colleagues, friends and families healthy and safe:

  • Stay hydrated
  • Looking out for signs of dehydration
  • Summer general preparedness
  • Vehicle preparedness / safety checks
  • Recognizing signs of potential heat-related illness

Stay safe and healthy.
