What Do American Idol and Transdev Have in Common?

Safety Corner

On the heels of International Women’s day, here’s a feel-good story that truly demonstrates the power of caring and having a “never give up” attitude. It’s a story about a woman and her daughter who previously dealt with homelessness and other challenges and who persevered and dared to create a better life for themselves. Best part of the story – the mom featured here – Juretha Jones – has been working at our Phoenix operation since 2018.

This YouTube clip is from the recent American Idol auditions where Juretha’s daughter shares her story and goes on to sing and impress the judges (all while she proudly watches from the sidelines).

It’s heartwarming to hear their story and know that Transdev has played a role in making a difference in their lives.
