Only Positives to Maintaining a Safe Following Distance

is our next “Safety Basics” sub-topic.

There are only advantages to maintaining a safe following distance of 6 seconds or greater to the vehicle in front of you. Whether it’s the ability to avoid hazards sooner, the creation of more space in case the driver in front stops suddenly or the benefit to your vehicle (with less wear & tear) – these are all positives.

Keep the basics in mind and keep your distance.

Did You Know? July 25 is National Hire a Veteran Day

Transdev is proud that many veterans have chosen our company for their second career. Many of the skills veterans acquired while in the military transfer nicely to our business – whether it’s a direct skills transfer (i.e. maintenance etc.) or the softer skills around leadership, teamwork, good communication, and pride in the work done – they all have a place at Transdev.
