Keeping Both Hands on the Wheel Ensures No Multitasking While Driving

Safety Corner

“Two Hands on the Wheel” is our next “Safety Basics” sub-topic. It’s a term we all heard during week 1 of driver’s education, but a safety basic that’s not always followed. Avoiding distractions like cell phones, eating etc. that may occupy your second hand will help ensure you are ready to tackle the unexpected on the road.

As a reminder, every couple of months, we will highlight another overall health & safety-related theme and some related sub-topics to help all of us keep health & safety top-of-mind – whether we are in the field, in an office or at home.

Next week’s Safety Basic sub-theme will be highlighting “Safe Following Distance”.
