Pedestrian Safety #2: Cyclist Awareness

This “Pedestrian Awareness” sub-topic focuses on the importance of always being aware of cyclists on the road.

It’s important to give cyclist some extra room and remember to pass slowly and with caution. Even moving to an adjacent lane can reduce the risk of a collision.

There’s room for everyone, so let’s share the road.

New Partnership with LYNX Kicks Off June 1

Starting June 1, we are launching our new partnership with the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) to operate its ACCESS LYNX paratransit service. As part of their new partnership, we will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, dispatch, scheduling, road supervision, and overall management of the contract on behalf of ACCESS LYNX. This includes 200 vehicles and 330 employees.

Claire Spielberg, our General Manager for our Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport fixed route service, has decided to retire after 35 years in the transit industry.
