Ready? Daylight Savings Time Starts Sunday

Safety Corner

Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, March 13. Don’t forget to “spring ahead” and move your clocks forward one hour. The time change also provides a convenient safety reminder to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.

Interesting Fact #1: The European Union countries do not move their clocks forward until the last Sunday in March (Sunday, March 27). Keep that in mind over the next two weeks so you don’t miss that important meeting with the Group.

Interesting Fact #2: For the U.S. and its territories, Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, and Arizona.

Enjoy the extra hour of sunshine at the end of your day starting Sunday.
