Transdev Awarded Community Transit (Dial-a-Ride) Contract in Everett, WA

Safety Corner

We are excited to announce that on October 1, 2020 we launched a new partnership with Community Transit, based in Everett, Washington to operate its Dial-a-Ride Transportation (DART) services. DART provides services to an average of 190,000 passengers annually, who are unable to use regular fixed-route bus service based on a disability or existing health condition.

Thanks to our business development team’s efforts, we signed a 5-year and 3-month contract and will be managing both the operations and maintenance aspects of DART’s paratransit services overseeing 90 employees and 52 vehicles.

As part of our commitment to DART, we will be working with Community Transit to help them become an even more progressive service. We will be showcasing some advanced software and implementing new technology that ultimately will benefit their passengers and enhancing the overall passenger experience.

We are happy to start on this journey with DART.
