Armed with real-time arrival information on smartphones, passengers in Nassau County (Long Island) and New Orleans can now go ticketless with the expansion of Transdev’s Go Mobile app. The app has already earned customer loyalty in Nassau County, where it helps close to 100,000 passengers every day.
The app enables passengers to purchase tickets in seconds, anytime and anywhere, without searching for change or a MetroCard (Nassau) or Jazzy Pass (New Orleans). In addition to real-time arrival information, passengers can easily navigate the GoMobile app to purchase tickets for future use, find out about delays, view possible routes, plan a trip, and see the time needed to walk to a bus stop.

Various icons within the app help customers to save and display favorite routes, view schedules, and set reminder alarms for future bus departures. App users can view a map of the entire route with stop locations and approaching bus locations along with departure times. Departure times can be customized for planned trips.
