Veolia Transportation

Design. Build. Operate. Maintain.

Transdev’s infrastructure and maintenance subsidiary, VTMI, helps our clients fill a growing need in an expensive area. Our goal is to serve as a single stop for agencies seeking any aspect of public transportation service. VTMI’s extensive record maintaining and building rail infrastructure helps Transdev achieve that goal.

VTMI has constructed and maintains more than 6,000 miles of rail: enough to cross the continent twice. Our state-of-the-art equipment, strong project management, and dedication to uncompromising safety help projects finish on time and on budget.

Maintenance and upkeep of rail networks is critical to ensure safety and reliability. Transdev knows though decades of experience that service and safety work on infrastructure can often lead to schedule adjustments that hamper the passenger experience. VTMI is skilled at managing projects at night to minimize revenue service interruptions.  Our core promises to clients include:

  • A Foundation Built on Fundamentals: Safety is always first. We do the basics right. We don’t cut corners.
  • Constantly Innovating: We are constantly pushing ourselves to do things better.
  • Always Customer Focused: We work hard to understand what the client really wants. We partner with clients to get the best for the owner and contractor.
  • Value Driven Operations: We are experts at thinking through a set of plans to squeeze out efficiencies. We are not afraid to ask the hard questions to get the most out of a project.
  • Insight derived from Experience: We understand variables and can devise plans to make the best of any situation.
  • Dedication to Excellence: No matter what we are faced with, we get the job done.
