Transdev Commences Operations of Paratransit Services in Las Vegas


Transdev, formerly Veolia Transportation, began operations of paratransit service in Las Vegas in early August, 2014, under contract to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). Transdev was awarded the contract by the in April 2014.   

Transdev is responsible for operations and fleet maintenance for this paratransit service, estimated at approximately one million passenger trips annually. Transdev employs 570 staff members in this operation, which includes 450 vehicle drivers, operating 308 vehicles. The paratransit services operations are housed at both RTC facility locations in order to better serve the Las Vegas community.

Our overall goal is to make paratransit services safer and more efficient, while providing reliability and comfort for our passengers.”

Transdev also operates SuperShuttle in Las Vegas, providing convenient shared ride transportation to and from the airport.
