Transdev, formerly called Veolia Transportation, was awarded a renewal of its contract to operate a major portion of the bus service provided by the Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD). Under this renewed contract, Transdev will continue to provide bus operations and maintenance services to approximately 7.5 million passengers annually, with 325 employees and deploying 107 buses. The contract has a three-year term and two (one-year) options.

“We have proudly served Denver RTD since 2006 and look forward to another five years. We especially thank Bruce Abel, Assistant General Manager at the RTD; Carolyn Conover, Senior Manager of Contracted Services; Greg Smith, Manager of Competitive Services and their team for their ongoing support and vote of confidence,” said Ron Bushman, Transdev’s Regional Vice President responsible for overseeing this contract.

Larry and his team will continue their strong focus on safety, maintenance, customer service, and driver relations to ensure continuity of the service quality to which Denver RTD has grown accustomed.
